I'm using and really enjoy GO Launcher EX. It replaces the default launcher and interface with plenty of custom options. If you're not happy, you can switch back to the original or remove it since it doesn't remove files and usually works better. There are many skins and other choices available. Give it a try—it's definitely worth it.
