I need assistance with reinstalling or installing DirectX 9 (Pacifically DirectX 9c). I have all the different versions, including DirectX 9.1 and DirectX 9.0c, but not DirectX 9.0c. I tried the June 2010 DirectX 9 pack recommended by Microsoft, but it didn’t resolve the issue. I’m told there’s already a newer version of DirectX installed, like without DirectX 9.0c. I can’t play games such as Payday 2 or Swor MMO anymore. Please help with reinstalling DirectX 9.0c. Let me know your specs if you’d like. I have an Intel i5 3330 GTX 1650 with 8GB RAM, and DirectX 9c games worked a few months ago.

Windows 10 includes DX12. Upgrading isn't possible. Consider reinstalling drivers after DDU - https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis...nload.html

Check what applications you want to remove with the software.

The DDU is used to remove graphics card drivers. Once you uninstall your nVidia drivers, you should install the corresponding nVidia 1650 drivers from nvidia.com.

You may wish to download the drivers first, since the resolution after restart could be slightly reduced and the GUI might appear overly large. Once you restart, simply install the drivers and everything should work properly.

Now you should consider your next steps. What action would you like to take?
