We can't possibly confirm this. Offering a knife without anything in return is clearly a scam. If you're exchanging two items, make sure it's part of the same transaction.

He should get someone else to handle the knife—it looks like a fake. The $80 gut knife was swapped for that butterfly, which is a clear scam. It’s all about the valve employees not doing their job.
