You need to secure your Windows with a password and PIN. After following several guides, the options at the bottom remain unavailable even after turning off the checkbox and restarting your PC. The link you tried from the official Windows forum also didn’t help. You’re using the registry method, but it’s not working either. Consider resetting your account via the Microsoft account settings or contacting Microsoft support for further assistance.

Is this a ready-made device with Windows included? What version was active when you acquired it—did it already be set up? Was it offered during the "Choose region" step of setup? It might need the operating system reinstalled and tailored to your needs; if it's intended for business use, you likely have no alternative.

Navigate to settings, accounts, password, and then modify to include a password. Only a local account is used.

Ensure the option is set to "on" for local account authentication.
