Stability problems are appearing with this new setup. Here are the details: The specs include a Ryzen 7 3700X, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB, 3200MHz CPU, and several GPUs. When XMP is enabled during gaming, the system shuts down abruptly and restarts, resetting BIOS to defaults. Disabling XMP and PBO brings stability, allowing long gaming sessions without issues. No thermal or overheating signs with the H60 AIO GPU. The system has remained steady for months before these changes started. No crash dumps or logs are present. Need guidance on next steps?

Still verifying PBO effects, but it seems the issue lies with the motherboard, not the CPU. I thought about the advice, but with an X570 setup you gain significantly more power delivery than a 3700x can manage. If you push the settings too high, it might damage the chip and cause instability at higher frequencies, even if it worked before.

PBO mode was simply set to default "enabled" in Ryzen Master's Gaming settings. I didn’t make any manual changes. Interestingly, the system runs smoothly when using prime95 and furmark together. The Windows memory diagnostic found no issues. With XMP active in BIOS and PBO enabled in Ryzen Master, everything seems fine despite the randomness.

I'm checking the GPU settings for voltage and MHz. Did you adjust those values yourself? Also, regarding XMP, are you using it as the default or did you change the MHz in the profile?

The GPU operates according to the factory's default settings, and I haven't experimented with that myself. I've only used the Aorus program with the card set to its default mode. There don't seem to be any extra features beyond what the maker designed.

You saved your XMP at 3600MHz, correct? And after that, you set it to auto mode?

XMP is set as the default with 3200MHz. It looks stable surprisingly... Planning to launch a game again and observe results beyond the artificial stress tests.

I tried using a PS2 emulator while playing Gran Turismo 2 and it worked fine. Then I powered off the system after a short race and restarted it. After resetting the BIOS, I opened Doom 2016 to test. Everything functioned normally. When I enabled full performance metrics, I noticed unusual spikes in CPU usage that I hadn’t seen before. These spikes occur often and quickly resolve without any visible lag... but what’s going on? (attached photo)
