I've been attempting to set up Windows 10 on my virtual machine in VirtualBox, but the ISO file keeps causing issues. The error message indicates a storage format problem, preventing the installation from starting.

ISO file for Windows 10 technical preview x64 EN-US version 10041 is available. The MD5 hash is 77DD29D6CF19C5B13AA13F024C0F21ED and the SHA-1 is C535BC08C862467A19DBBC3A320D7E718834255B. The SHA-256 value is FFF6A41E5A821EFE76CAC03FF0A5D23E605F849B1B792AADE507B9EE2F362C44.

I believe it's the ISO, though I'm not entirely confident. This issue hasn't occurred to me before—please re-download the ISO and inform us of your outcome.

i installed the virtual machine with windows 10 and encountered an unusual error. I don’t recall exactly what it was, but it seems the process involved setting up with windows 8 first and then upgrading using setup.exe from the iso. It looks like this method might not work without a usable copy of windows 8.
