Hey everyone, I'm checking if Ubiquiti routers are compatible with WLC (CAPWAP). I'm searching for models that meet my customers' needs but I'm not sure if they support this feature. I'm currently evaluating the Ubiquiti U6-LR and other higher-end devices. Could anyone confirm whether these routers support WLC? I'd appreciate any suggestions for other brands that offer similar capabilities. Specifically, I need a router that works on both 2.5GHz and 5GHz simultaneously, supports 802.11 standards (A/B/G/N/AC or better), includes Wave 1 and Wave 2 compatibility, has 4x4 MIMO with three extension antennas, PoE over Ethernet at 22.5W, and at least two RJ45 ports for 10/100/1000Base-T. Thanks in advance for your help!

This access point functions as a gateway rather than a router. Unifi APs are overseen through their unique platform, though you can run a controller at no cost (with certain restrictions). CAPWAP appears specifically tied to Cisco solutions, indicating it may be part of the Cisco environment if that’s your requirement.

I was thinking about mentioning access point. However, I might have to choose the Cisco ecosystem instead. I'll check if my customers actually require it, thanks!
