Need assistance with your PC?
I recently assembled my PC (details available here: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/tWcjb2) and attempted to install Windows 11, but it kept failing. I disabled XMP in the BIOS to gain more control during setup, yet crashes persisted. After that, the RGB lights on my fans began flickering erratically. I continued troubleshooting, trusting it would fix itself, but now the machine doesn’t display a video signal to my monitor. It also won’t shut down unless I completely cut power from the PSU, and the motherboard’s EZ Debug LEDs show a GPU problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Which Windows release is available? Your laptop couldn't upgrade to 24h2; consider installing 23H2 or earlier versions. GPU problems shouldn't impact RGB performance, but there may be issues with the motherboard or power supply stability.
I’m not certain which Windows version you have—you saved the installer from Microsoft’s site. Regarding the GPU problem, you’re right it shouldn’t impact the RGB, which helps explain your confusion.
