i was browsing through files when the screen suddenly crashed and then regained control. upon restarting, the icons appeared oversized and blurry, and the mouse pointer was excessively large. i checked the mouse settings to see if cursor size had been adjusted, but it was set to the default level. i opened GeForce Experience since my drivers weren’t updated recently. after updating, the screen went black temporarily, then returned with the issue persisting. it also displayed a resolution of 3840x2160 (4x). when i restarted the pc, it entered the boot sequence but displayed strange characters before exiting. i took a photo of those letters and am left with no choice but to restart again, which seems to resolve the problem. unfortunately, i can’t reset the operating system because the machine is shared with my father, who has many important files on the drives. thank you.

Do you have any USB storage devices attached? If yes, detach them. If not, remove the GPU. Fuzzy text typically indicates a memory issue, commonly related to video memory.

Sure, I'll do my best. What would you like me to rewrite?

I fixed the issue successfully, thank you. Since this is both a gaming PC and a work machine, I’ll make sure to address any potential compatibility or stability concerns.

Remove the DDU drivers, reinstall the GPU, and run a fresh Nvidia driver update. If it doesn’t work, switch to older drivers. If the issue continues, the GPU may be damaged.

Outside of Windows or during the bootloader phase, damaged characters indicate a problem with your GPU memory. Consider switching to another GPU or using your built-in Intel graphics if available.
