You're looking to upgrade your PC for gaming, studying, and light programming. You currently have a 6500X GPU, an i5-11400F CPU, 16GB RAM at 3200MHz, and a 500GB M.2 SSD. You're wondering if any components need replacing or if your existing cooling solution is sufficient. A water cooler isn't strictly necessary unless you notice overheating, but it can help maintain performance during intense use.

The 11400F operates without requiring water cooling. I also believe you have a reliable power supply unit.

You're looking to purchase a 700W PSU with an 80+ rating. That's a solid choice for most modern devices.

I located two PSUs, both compatible with the A single rail setup. Which one should I prioritize? Amazon.com lists the Corsair RM650 and the Cooler Master V650.

The more affordable option is generally great, both are solid choices.

You can obtain a high-quality 850-watt PSU at that cost. I’d also steer clear of the Corsair model because it seems to lack cables. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FPYmP6/...9020235-na This option matches the price of the cooler master model but with more power.

Purchasing this item from corsair means you should also get the matching power supply.
