Mortar max stands out as the top choice. Following that are the pro 4 models, such as the 3200 cl16 or 3600 kits. I’m not sure Zen’s imc can manage the 3600 version either.

Regarding the frequencies, it seems there isn't a 3600MHz CL16 available, and opting for a 3600MHz CL18 would indeed offer better long-term compatibility than sticking with a 3200MHz CL16. Your choice of 3200MHz CL16 is solid too—it's a strong second option after the 3600MHz CL18.
If you are absolutely sure that you can run at 3600 cl18 then go for it ... but if there's any slight chance that you will have hard time making it work or will have to loosen timing to run at 3600 then if it was me I would get 3200 cl16 so you can use what you paid for, hassle free. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think infinity fabric is tied to ram frequency at some point and there's a limit in how high zen+ can go with ram frequency and if I remember correctly 3200 was the sweet spot there. Maybe you should try to find 3200 kit with cl14 instead. Also I have a hard time understanding the concept of future proofing in ram specially with 2 kits that performs basically the same.
