Hey everyone, I'm really stuck and can't find a solution online. I'm using Windows 10 on a custom PC (thanks to the folks here who helped me avoid buying a 3950x) and haven’t managed to connect to a specific network. My apartment complex set up temporary Wi-Fi for all tenants until the building improvements are complete, so we can each pay for our own internet. They gave us a free network that I’ve successfully connected to on both my phone (Galaxy S9) and my laptop (Asus ROG Strix, Windows 10). Both devices work fine with it. My desktop, however, doesn’t show up or connect at all. I’ve tried everything: reinstalling the driver, toggling Wi-Fi on/off, restarting, disabling antivirus, enabling network discovery manually, and even starting the RPC locator service. My built-in wireless card is working, and I’ve downloaded the correct driver from their site. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Let me know if you need more details.

Do you know if the mobile device's Wi-Fi operates within the same frequency range as your wireless router? (The chip only supports 2.4 GHz, while the router uses 5 GHz.)
