You can use the ECC memory in your MSI MS-7728 Ver.2.0 Intel H61 as normal RAM, but make sure it matches the specifications of your system. Since you accidentally ordered ECC instead of regular RAM, double-check compatibility with your CPU and motherboard. With your current setup (i7-2600, no extra parts), you should be able to run it normally if the memory is correctly installed. If you don’t have enough funds for new RAM, consider using the existing ECC module temporarily until you can upgrade.

The 2600 and motherboard are incompatible with ECC RAM—they don’t support it at all. There’s no option to return the RAM.
