The single 8-pin EPS offers a solid 384 watts of power, more than sufficient for any current AM4 CPU. The additional pin is dedicated to LN2 and heavy overclocking, which you can comfortably manage with standard cooling solutions. It won’t work as intended because the pin configurations differ.
