I'm also seeing some reports suggesting poor networking. Would you like me to run a speed test from the server? Also, look in Task Manager, go to more details, performance, CPU, right-click the graph, and change it to logical processors. It might help to see if any core is heavily loaded. Good to know, but keep in mind that sitting there for a while won't automatically fix it.
It doesn't cease or fade away even when I'm just standing still. My speed test on Ookla showed a download of over 550 Mb/s and an upload of around 22 Mb/s. That's more than enough, shouldn't it?
It's important to remember this configuration. My arrangement starts with Coax, moves through a modem, then a router, followed by a 48-port switch, and ends at the server, client PCs, and Wi-Fi network. The central device operates over the wired connection, while all other units connect via Wi-Fi. Additionally, I'm using Radmin VPN to enable secure connections.
Have you considered using a VPN for your local network? It seems like a straightforward idea—directly linking the client PC to the server via Ethernet. Of course, it’s feasible.
Direct connection from local devices isn't available. The VPN supports only LAN and allows WAN players to join.
This might be the root of your problems, yet it’s relatively straightforward to pinpoint. Mandating all traffic to pass through a third party will introduce extra delays; the issue lies in the volume and prioritization of that traffic. Why not? You can verify this yourself by entering the server's local IP/Port on your device.
You're trying to bypass restrictions by using a VPN, but it's not straightforward. Instead of relying on the VPN alone, consider combining it with other methods like using the server's IP address and port directly. It can be tricky, so don't worry—ask for help anytime.
