In games or everyday use? If it's just games, your RAM might be the problem since 8 GB isn't very much. Errors can happen when game data moves between your page file on the HDD and your RAM because the RAM size is too small for all the needed information. You can easily check this with tools that track RAM usage and see if stutters appear when usage reaches 100%. If so, adding another RAM stick is the only fix. An HDD also isn't helping in gaming and might cause stutters along with what's mentioned earlier.
gtx 1050 isn't resolving the issue, likely because it's already soldered onto the motherboard. Consider getting another SSD to add 16 GB of RAM. If a M.2 slot exists, opt for a 1 TB M.2 drive to enable an SSD. Upgrading your CPU to one compatible with the BGA socket would also be beneficial. RAM and SSD are key improvements.
What games are you using? You might want to lower the settings or remove GeForce Experience, as it affected your game performance after enabling its optimization feature.
Laptops aren't ideal for high performance overall; they tend to be packed tightly. Consider increasing RAM, adjusting game graphics settings, and possibly upgrading to an SSD.
