A few months back, some keys on my mom's laptop keyboard stopped working, including the backspace. I tried using an external keyboard to see if it would help, and it worked fine, but it’s so inconvenient to rely on one all the time. If anyone has suggestions or alternatives, I’d really appreciate it.

Optimal approach is purchasing a customized internal keyboard for your laptop model and installing it yourself, ideally from AliExpress. Alternatively, you can take the laptop to a repair service for installation.
