I have an Ethernet connection on the opposite side of the room from my PC. The port works fine, but when I run a 50ft cable to my desktop or switch, nothing happens. I've used an Ubiquiti repeater, but it didn't connect. I also tried powering the repeater directly with a PoE injector, but that didn't work either. I'm running out of ideas and need some guidance.

Have you experimented with a different cable?

You explained the process clearly, detailing each step you took to ensure the port functioned properly.

I connected a brief cable to the laptop, and it functioned perfectly. However, I’m having trouble getting any signal after the 50-foot length.
