Smaller resolutions can actually increase the physical size of the screen while shrinking the field of view, which might help with shooting at a distance. I play at 1080p but I find the lower resolution more appealing. @madsmuz you mentioned having similar issues before, likely related to razer synapse—though you said it’s turned off now. Double-check that it’s completely disabled before starting the game and look for any lingering processes in Task Manager.

I completely overlooked creating this entry, but discovered my fix. The issue was in Razer Synapse, where I disabled the data tracking settings. This resolved the problem for me. Even though I don’t own a Razer mouse now, it might assist others facing the same situation.
