Hey!! Stupid ish question. So I work from home, And as of right now We NEED to be connected wired to our Modem (for some kind of safety reasons) And right now, I have like a 50Foot Lan Cable ( OR what ever its called) Running from my Modem to my Laptop. Runs from my living room to my office. Is there such thing out there, That plugs into the wall and lets you plug in the lan cable to it, and plug it into the Laptop? Or am i dreaming... Thanks!

Are you sure it will work? Do more experience always lead to better results in this area? I noticed prices around $10 to $70, including Canadian rates.

They perform tasks, but the outcome relies on your home's wiring setup. Opting for a tangible cable is advisable.

Power adapter functionality relies on the condition of the electrical wiring. The gap between adapters matters, and crossing breakers can lead to slower connections. Devices with high power consumption, like hair dryers, may create significant interference, resulting in disconnections. Be aware that most utilities supply two hot wires to your panel, with each handling one side. Although they’re built for single circuits, using them across multiple circuits can reduce performance. Remember, your panel gets power from two incoming wires, each serving a side; signals must travel to the meter and back, which can affect speed. Usually, testing them is the best way to confirm compatibility. There’s also MOCA, which uses coaxial cable near your modem and computer.
