Hi, welcome! Your new PC has an unactivated Windows 10 Pro license, while your old machine still has a genuine copy. You're trying to move the license but facing issues. The method you tried with the administrator command didn't work, and after removing the product key, it shows the key is invalid. Someone can help—let me know if you'd like some advice! Thanks for reaching out.

Consider linking the license to your Microsoft account and logging in with that account to move the key. Be aware that if the license applies to a different Windows version than your new machine, the activation won’t work (e.g., Home vs Professional). Check whether the device was purchased from a retailer or used—reach out to the retailer for a key if needed. Also verify if the license on the computer matches the one you bought; pre-built keys usually can’t be transferred.

You didn't log in, and your old device isn't working well. The system still failed, and you lost the retailer info and receipt. Are there any ways to recover or resolve this?

Are you asking about the new model rather than the older one? Is it ready-made so you can reach out to Best Buy or the retailer you purchased it from for details? The key factor on the old system is the Windows version—like Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro.

I’ve already logged in using my new device, which runs the same Windows version as before—Windows 10 Pro.

Here’s what I suggest doing next. You’ve already run the update on your old machine, so now focus on this new setup. Execute Windows key + X and choose Command Prompt (Admin) or PowerShell (Admin). At the prompt, input "slmgr.vbs /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx" replacing the placeholders with your actual code. Press Enter—you should see confirmation it completed successfully. Close the window and then reactivate via Tele or contact support. Press Windows key + R, type "slu.exe 4", and press Enter. Select your country to receive a toll-free number. Call them and explain your request; they’ll ask for your license key and then provide a confirmation ID to activate Windows 10. They’re usually very helpful and patient, so don’t hesitate to ask for clarification if needed.

It’s mentioned that the number doesn’t seem to exist, yet it’s linked to Microsoft. What does that imply? I’m confused—what number are we talking about? Are you asking about its meaning or something else?

If none of the steps help, you'll likely need to purchase a new window.

This post seems confusing. What code is missing? The number provided for the toll-free line is 855-801-0109. For the US, that's correct. If you're elsewhere, I can give you another number or press Windows key and type "Get Help" to connect with a Microsoft support specialist. They'll walk you through activating Windows step by step. One option might work, but we should explore other solutions first before spending money.

They’re using Thailand phone codes, but the numbers you entered don’t match any active lines. The first code returns a non-existent number, while the second shows Microsoft as unavailable. This inconsistency is confusing and shouldn’t happen.
