Hi, thank you for reaching out. I'm new to setting up PCs. Could you confirm if this motherboard supports Wi-Fi, or would you need a separate Wi-Fi card?

This board lacks a built-in Wi-Fi module; you must use a wireless NIC adapter (such as USB or PCIe) to connect. The Wi-Fi antenna ports would resemble those on a board with this feature, even if they aren't positioned at the top of the interface.

Sure, I can help with that. Plugging in the link you shared should work for connecting to your Wi-Fi network.

An antenna-free USB dongle might function, but performance can vary based on several environmental conditions such as proximity to Wi-Fi access points, obstacles or walls, and interference from different channels or bands. I suggest using a Wi-Fi NIC PCIe card with an external antenna for better flexibility and positioning without relocating the computer. I've had positive results with the Asus AC68 PCIe NIC: https://www.newegg.com/asus-pce-ac68-pci...6833320173

Interesting choice! I'm checking it out. What are your opinions on a USB device paired with a dongle like that?

I haven't relied on a USB dongle for Wi-Fi in nearly ten years, yet the limits of these devices are still far below what 802.11n and ac can achieve. Back then, it wouldn't have been a big issue, but now if your internet plan offers faster speeds, your computer might struggle to keep up. Using it as a media server also poses a risk of slowing down performance.
