Installed W8.1 and performed the initial shutdown. Now the PC restarts with a nice blue logo, but no further updates appear. The HDD LED is on without blinking and seems to be reading something, though there’s no progress displayed. Any suggestions? Should I power off the PC and try again, or let it run as is? Thanks ahead of time.
Ignore it. It just resumed without issues. If you encounter this, avoid handling it—it might be scanning the disk or something similar. Thanks.
