I purchased a new TV model "Philips the One" (PUS8517). After connecting my laptop via HDMI 2.0, it was set to 30Hz, then I adjusted it to 60Hz. The screen would repeatedly power on and off until I restored it to 30Hz. I tested all other HDMI ports, enabled HDR, changed display settings, but the issue persisted. Please let me know soon!

Is your laptop equipped with an HDMI 2.0 connection? Otherwise, HDMI 1.4 supports only 2160p30 resolution.

Generally, the age of a cable isn't important as long as its price and quality are right. You might find a cheap $2 cable that doesn’t work well. It’s better to try different options first, to rule out bad cables.

Alright, we should confirm purchasing a Premium High Speed HDMI cable since it supports 4K at 60Hz. Using a non-premium version limits it to 4K at 30Hz.

I understand your point, but when resolving issues, it's best to begin with the most straightforward fixes. In this scenario, checking the cable is the simplest approach, as they might waste time figuring out the problem when it could be as simple as a faulty connection. This method helps confirm whether the issue lies in hardware or software.

They pointed out an issue that persists even when using 720p at 60 frames per second.
