Need assistance with Thrustmaster Target GUI software and script editor?
I apologize if this is the incorrect thread. I recently purchased a Thrustmaster T16000M FCS joystick and a TWCS throttle. I'm currently using keyboard and mouse commands for the joystick and throttle while playing Star Wars Squadrons. Unfortunately, I can't apply mouse scroll wheel commands because the game doesn't offer keyboard shortcuts for those functions, and Target GUI lacks the ability to simulate them. After some research, it seems I'd need to write a Script Editor file to replicate the mouse wheel actions. I also couldn't locate a mod tailored for my controllers. This is my first attempt at combining a joystick and throttle with a game.
My questions are:
1. If I need to make a script editor file, what programming would be required to replicate mouse scroll wheel commands and other necessary features so the joystick and throttle function correctly in the game?
2. Should I copy the coding for all my other controllers' functions from the GUI?
3. How should I connect the script editor with the file that holds my custom controller settings for the game?
4. If I can't run the script editor and GUI simultaneously, how would the script editor connect to my game's custom GUI profile while playing?
