Hello,
I'm setting up my first PC and have an RM850x Shift as a power supply. My motherboard is an MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk with two 8-pin connectors for the CPU power. The GPU is a Sapphire Pulse 7900 XTX that requires three 8-pin connectors. As shown in the image, there are four 8-pin connectors available in the PCIe and CPU area. My question is: can I use one of the single 8-pin connectors inside the motherboard section for either the CPU or GPU?

Uncertain about the issue, but according to the specifications you should have 4-PCIe and 2 EPS connectors with the provided cables, which should cover your needs. Also seems like there are five possible connection spots for PCIe/EPS ports, so even with tailored cables you should be okay.
