I upgraded my system by installing an SSD in the M.2 slot. I removed the cooler master 212 evo to clear the way, but didn’t touch the CPU. After setting up the radiator and fan, I pressed power expecting a smooth installation. Instead, I got a warning—POST light stayed on and the CPU LED was glowing. I tried several fixes: removing the SSD to see if it would work, reapplying thermal paste and the radiator, checking for bent pins (they seemed fine), using a cardboard box as a makeshift bench to test shorting, and finally removing everything and plugging it back in. I also tried booting with just one stick of RAM. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Try launching the PC without the cooler right away. Go through the BIOS setup to check if overheating is the issue, since your previous cooler worked before being damaged. After removing and reattaching it, the system failed to boot.

Got it, I've given it a shot. Tried the new PSU but nothing changed.
