that's unusual. unless your specific kit uses hynix chips (corsair offers both hynix and samsung memory).
but even then, with the latest BIOS you should be able to reach at least 2933-3000MHz.
hypixel isn't on the top tier zzz i've tried 2933 with configurations like 16 18 18 18 38 36 etc.
Have you considered raising the voltage? Up to 1.5v works for DDR4, though I’d experiment with 1.4-1.45v. Also, the QVL only indicates they tried it and it worked in their model. It’s interesting that the memory controller is built into the CPU, leading to compatibility differences not just between models but also within the same model variations. I’m skeptical they tested more than with a single CPU.
that's way too loose. should be 14 or below.
have you tried increasing the voltage to up to 1.5v, it's acceptable for DDR4. though i'd experiment with a range of 1.4-1.45v.
btw, the QVL doesn't actually make your memory run—it just indicates they tested it and it worked in their MB. The interesting part is that the memory controller is built into the CPU, leading to differences in compatibility and capability not only between models but also within the same model variations. I really doubt they tested more than with a single CPU.
thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge.
i understand what you mean. can you provide some timing options with voltage that i could try? Or just experiment?
it's pretty straightforward. visit the corsair site and copy the information there.

may not be perfect, so you gradually increase the voltage in small increments—starting at 0.01v. if you hit around 1.5v, adjust the timing settings accordingly.
there could be no exact match; i usually copied my original vengeance pro kit settings and then tweaked them for stability.
It's pretty simple. Visit the corsair site and copy the information there. The product link is https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories...M2B2800C14. It might not work perfectly, so you can gradually increase the voltage in small increments—starting at 0.01v. If you reach 1.5v, consider adjusting the timings further. There may not be an exact match, but you can try this approach. 😀
