Hia! On one of my favourite games, Trove, a free to play MMO voxel game I like to AFK the PVP Arena at night on a Sunday as it is PVP bonus xp day. Anyways the light from my computer disturb me in the night and stop me from getting to sleep even on the lowest brightness. Is there any way to make the screen go blank, with the game open, without using screensaver/sleep? All help appreciated!! Thanks! P.S. Please don't criticise me if I have posted this in the wrong topic, I couldn't decide wether it should go here or in off topic. Just tell me where it should go

Maybe I could adjust it so the screen stays blank instead of turning off. Thanks, I'll give it a shot.

On your display, or on a laptop: If you press the power button, Windows may not respond if you close it.

1) Ensure it remains inactive when the lid is shut and close it manually (not advised as certain laptops need passive cooling from the keyboard area)
2) Include a key on your keyboard to turn off the screen brightness, usually found in function keys

It's possible to cover the screen with a cloth as well.

Doesn't AFKing in a PvP scenario upset your teammates? I get it—maybe I'm off the mark, but I haven't played much PvP across different games. Still, people often seem really harsh about not joining in.
