Computer Model: Desktop GPU 7900 XT CPU RYZEN 7 7800X3d Motherboard Tuf RAM 32 GB DDR5 6000 PSU Corsair 750W SFXL Case Type Xtia Xproto ATX Operating System Version Windows 11 Pro GPU Drivers Adrenalin 25.1.1 Problem Summary: I’m struggling to identify the root cause. The issue emerged only after switching to a 360Hz monitor. It manifests as random graphical glitches, mostly appearing at the top of the screen—either across the whole area or half-screen as shown in the photo. I also experience brief blackouts, though less often than the visual problems. Troubleshooting Steps: I’ve checked multiple cables, updated BIOS, and verified drivers. The issue persists only recently, possibly linked to newer API updates. Some games run smoothly in DX11 but fail in DX12 mode. (This could be useful for others who faced similar challenges.) I haven’t performed a full Windows reinstall from scratch, but used the Windows Update method in Windows 11. I’ve reprogrammed drivers and swapped several versions. Currently running version 25.1.1. Since DX11 titles seem to resolve it, it likely points to a software rather than hardware problem. It might be related to DSC or an API change. One of my main games works perfectly in DX12 but not in DX11. If you have any suggestions, I’m open to trying anything to resolve this at once.
