Until the OP gets back to this thread there really isn't much to talk about. That is if he/she gets back to this thread...

Consider the situation you're facing. You're connected to a router owned by someone else, which provides both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. You aim to set up your own network, using your own router for local devices while linking it to the apartment's main network. Your goal is to obtain static IP addresses for clients, host games on specific ports with an Xbox, and ensure services like Jitsi, XMPP, a web server, and WireGuard remain accessible from the internet. Since a DNS service isn't ideal and static addresses are essential, you're looking for a way to secure at least one fixed IP address for your network. What approach would you consider?

You're not interested in learning or assisting—you're here to debate. I won't engage if it leads to provocation or irritation, since I don't value your opinion on who I am or what I know.

You seem to be questioning the situation, but let's focus on what we can do together. What would you like to discuss?

Imagine a lot happening. Why not think about it yourself?

I noticed your question, but it seems unclear. Could you clarify what you're asking?

Sorry I'm this late, I was quite busy. Anyways nobody seems to understand my situation. I can't get my own internet because the only outlet I have is Ethernet port with my apartment number on the wall. I am the only one using this exact line and everyone has their own line. Also I doubt that someone would attacked me since everyone knows everyone here because it's small building. About the Ethernet port called "wan", I haven't tried that here tho but i remember similar issue from 7 years ago when I tried to do this at my parents home but it didn't work either (they wanted wifi in their garage) so it might be just me not knowing how to set it up. About limited connection, there isn't any. I know normal apartments have it different for optical internet but what I have for the price is super cheap, it's 1 gigabit internet and I have it for $15 per month which is a huge bargain here. Anyways, if I understand correctly, I have to get a router that has a wan port on it and set it up correctly trough that and then I would theoretically have WiFi and my laptop could be connected trough Ethernet and other devices like phone, switch, TV and so on trough WiFi. But I do need router with wan port. I appreciate all the help here so thank you all for your advice and when I get it to work I can come back and let you all know.
