It seems this applies to the separate chipsets 5500 and 5600 because it works with both.

The alternative PPL currently on the board is located in SetFSB. I plan to evaluate it later for additional insights.

Yes, similar functionality exists in Linux through `setfsb` and related commands. It manages file system block settings.

I'm checking since I want to use VMware ESXi with my server board and need to maintain overclocking capabilities. If that's not feasible, I might consider a BIOS modification.
