You installed the right components and are ready to enjoy gaming. Make sure you saved your settings before changing anything. If you didn’t, try resetting BIOS or reinstalling the OS. Check for any pending updates and ensure your motherboard supports the 3600 MHz RAM. If issues persist, contact ASUS support for further assistance.

Restart the CMOS settings. Were you adjusting the frequency to 3600MHz or activating the XMP/DOCP profile for the storage?

Did you adjust the RAM speed yourself or rely on XMP/DCOP settings? Setting it manually at 3600 might be too low in voltage and too tight in timing. If you reset your CMOS (BIOS), follow the guide I shared. This will restore you to the default BIOS settings. Use a physical key, car key, metal object, or knife—anything metal can clear the pins. If you applied DCOP or XMP, your chip may not support 3600.

Just switched to 3600mhz, that's all. Will reset the CMOS too. Also checking if powering down the motherboard helps.

Power off the machine, disconnect the power source, detach the cable from the power unit, press the case power button for fifteen seconds before releasing, use a flat screwdriver to gently touch the two pins, reconnect the power supply, activate it, enter BIOS, and enable XMP or DOCCP.

Check the BIOS settings for XMP configuration and look for the AI Overclocker tuner section.
