Consider using RTSS to cap your frame rate in Witcher 3, as Durante's analysis recommends for smoother performance. It seems like it’s working well for me. No matter what I try, the OSD still shows and frames aren’t being limited. I’m getting frustrated and hoping someone can point this out.

Sure, I can adjust the settings. Setting 'Application detection level' to 'High' should help with those applications.

The adjustment didn’t help, but I observed that the frame limit isn’t functioning properly. I’m puzzled as to why the OSD isn’t responding either.

I’d consider trying another option, perhaps the EVGA Precision X. It appeared to provide better reliability for capping frames, even though I’m also an RTSS user. Give it a shot—maybe it functions or it might not.

You can apply frame caps using MSI Afterburner. RivaTuner displays on-screen stats and similar information.

Okay then, could one of you guys peak this PC gamer article http://www.pcgamer.com/durantes-witcher-...moothness/ and read the last paragraph. He talks about using RTSS to limit frames. On the same not he also says to disable ingame Vsync and run in borderless window mode to get "proper triple buffering vsync". If its off in game what is apply the triple buffering?
