Need assistance with restarting a random PC?
Hey, since the 3rd of December my computer has been shutting down unexpectedly. On screen it shows Event ID 41 and task category 63. It mentions that the system restarted without a clean shutdown and warns it might result from the system freezing, crashing, or losing power suddenly. A few days after that, I installed a Windows update to check if it would help. That actually made things worse; afterward I did a fresh installation from USB using Windows 11. The number of restarts decreased somewhat but it still happened regularly. After turning off C-States it got even fewer restarts. However, it still restarts every time you use it. During the restart it doesn’t show a blue screen—it just goes blank and restarts. I disabled automatic restarts to see if I could find a BSOD code, but there was no BSOD either. I looked at minidump files and found none. My PC specs are: CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7 GHz, 12-core processor, cooler be quiet! The motherboard is Asus ROG STRIX B550-F gaming ATX AM4, memory is G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32 GB (2x16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16, storage is Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD, a GeForce RTX 3080 10GB video card, and the case is Phanteks Eclipse P500A ATX mid-tower. The power supply is EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G6 850W (80+ Gold), and I’m using an LG 27GP850-B 27.0" 2560x1440 monitor at 165 Hz.
