I'm dealing with a few problems right now. My phone isn't connected to my desktop for a while, so I'm relying on my phone instead. There are some apps that keep freezing and the Wi-Fi keeps switching on and off. I'm curious about which apps or settings can help make the phone run better and how to monitor RAM usage. I've also been thinking about using Cyanogen Mod but I have no idea what it is. Plus, my phone has crashed a few times lately. Edit* My phone is a random Huawei that the NSA supposedly uses for surveillance—lol, I'll update once I know its Android version when I can figure this out, haha.

Looking for recommended apps or settings to try. I’m also seeking advice on possible fixes for the issues you’re facing. General information about Cynagon mod would be helpful too. Thanks!

What's happening? Have you updated CyanogenMod? Is this the ROM included with your device? What exactly is your device?

You're seeing better performance with the Snapdragon Battery Guru app. It manages background tasks and lowers power consumption when the screen isn't active, which helps preserve battery life. While it's not the most powerful tool out there, it does extend your device's usage time significantly.

The device runs Huawei M931 with Android 4.0.4, all settings factory reset. Regarding Cyanogen, I had no prior knowledge but assumed it’s a heavily customized Android version. I detailed my problems in the original post.

Cyanogenmod resembles a regular Android version but offers adjustments in what users can use, providing greater control and customization for your device.

I wasn't familiar with Cyanogenmod before, so I spent a few hours looking into it and then updated my S2 after a couple of days. It's quite straightforward to flash Cyanogenmod onto your phone—just download the app from their site, install it on your phone, and use another program on your PC with a USB cable to transfer it. The process is simple. You can find the instructions here: http://beta.download.cyanogenmod.org/install. After installation, my phone runs smoother and uses less battery.
