yesterday i switched from single to dual channel ram now it shows 14 gb available is this typical for a GTX 1060 6gb i7 6700 i9 with 128gb ssd and 1tb windows 10 pro hyper x 8x2 h170a-x1 hyperx fury 8gb 2666mhz edited february 11, 2021 by 3koperis

Sorry, the day's been tough. In the task manager, go to performance tab, then resource monitor at the bottom right, and look under Memory. This shows how much RAM is reserved by hardware. It's okay if some isn't reachable—2GB might seem high.
