Hello, I've been attempting to portforward a Minecraft server many times. I understand the process well, but the numerous options can be confusing. My router is a Huawei EG8141A5. Could someone assist with using TeamViewer or another method? Thank you!

I don't own your router, but it's generally straightforward. Choose the IP address of the server you wish to route requests to. Confirm you've reserved this IP to prevent changes or duplication. Selecting External Ports You may choose one port or a range for a specific server. These numbers will determine the ports the router uses when receiving requests from the Internet. Choosing Internal Ports When your router accepts a request on an external port, you don't always need identical numbers for WAN and LAN. For example, SSH might use port 31000, but the router forwards it to port 22 if you set the internal ports accordingly. The server must be set up to accept connections on that port. Using UDP, TCP, or Both This varies based on the traffic type for your service. Minecraft setup instructions should indicate which option is required.
