Hello, i'm just trying to clarify a few issues I've noticed while gaming and watching YouTube. Using dual channel sometimes causes the system to reboot, but switching to single channel gives me stable performance even during overnight use. However, with dual channel it fails after about five minutes. Also, when I just play games, it lasts longer.
I've tested all slots and memory issues, but everything was fine when using single channel. What I'm doing now includes:
- Clearing CMOS
- Finding a guide to loosen the CPU cooler
- Updating the BIOS to the latest version
These steps didn't resolve the problem. Please help me.
My PC specs are:
Intel i3 7100
H110M DS2 rev 1.1
2x4GB 2600Mhz
Zotac 750Ti non-pin
SSD 256Gb SATA
HDD 1Tb
500 watt PSU
Start by confirming the presence of RAM modules in the correct slots according to the manual, and verify that the BIOS is current.
I've already made the changes to the post.
I thoroughly tested the RAM on each stick in every slot throughout the day, but nothing changed.
However, with the dual module as a plugin, browsing alone never worked—it only functioned during browsing and gaming sessions.
Did you perform memory tests using single and dual channels at the lowest frequency and XMP settings?

I believe the issue might be that my socket is bent, but I've already tried bending it back. Unfortunately, it keeps happening. I'm trying to bend it more, but I don't know where the problem lies. It seems to restart during gaming or browsing without any error messages.
