I was planning to add another NVME to clarify my earlier comment. Please forgive any confusion. I'm upgrading completely and transferring my 980 and 990 to the new system; I wasn't sure if a 5.0 would be beneficial. With everyone's assistance, I think a 4.0 would be better. Thanks again!

No GPUs with generation 5 available, and even if they arrive, I anticipate only a small performance decrease from the 5x16 to the 5x8 versions.
