I completed the original metro 2033 on normal with ease, but now I’m handling the redux version much better. It feels like they’ve increased the challenge significantly on the same difficulty. My progress in the redux version is stopping abruptly due to this particular mission. The changes to the librarians are substantial—they’re stronger, move faster, deal more damage, and rarely miss when attacking. Anyone who has finished this mission on the redux version has any advice or tips?

It doesn't perform nearly as well as before, and soon it feels like it's about to end you. You could fire 18 shotgun shells into its head, but it won't be dead. This is happening under normal conditions.

Have you ever attempted to die and fail, quit and toss your computer out the window?

It seems the experience here matches both versions of Metro 2033, with no major changes in gameplay. They mention a staring contest scenario, where teammates will leave you alone if you do it, but during my run I confronted them with my shotgun.

I haven't played it recently. Still, do you think you need to keep them in mind? That part of the book is quite unsettling.
