This discussion focuses on McAfee, but I feel obligated to share my thoughts. I might actually remove it, possibly applying different suggestions than in the previous video, and then consider installing alternatives such as AVG or Avast!

Shut it down completely, remove the power for a few minutes, then press the delete key and start up in safe mode. After that, turn it back on. This process should clear any malware if it was hiding behind the gray screen. Otherwise, it might just be McAfee doing its thing.
