Upgraded system. Gigabyte 550 mobo, Ryzen 5 5600, 16GB 3200MHz RAM. In short...each time the installer prompts to restart, I have to start over from scratch. They don’t make it work on desktop. All repair and restore options are useless. Ran the PC using OS on a 2TB HDD with a backup 1TB laptop drive. Chose a clean install since performance was slower than expected even with XMP enabled. Downloaded the Windows ISO and followed the steps, but couldn’t install it to the laptop drive because of an odd format problem. After formatting the drive in the install menu, I tried again on the HDD—it was damaged (checked error code) and couldn’t install. I took a 2TB HDD from another PC and attempted installation there too, but it kept restarting to the installer start. Finally, formatting the laptop drive caused the same issue; the PC restarts every time it says to restart the install. Please help!
