it occurs in any "heavy" game, consistently, with the disk near 0%.
1060 6g, i5 8400, 16g ram.
most of the video's frame rate stays around 50, but it doesn't feel that way. I believe the cause is connected to the fluctuations... I'm not very familiar with hardware.
affected games: horizon zero dawn, the witcher 3, black desert online, watch dogs 2 (open world heavy games).
not affected: fortnite, valorant, overwatch, paladins.
some people suggested it might be related to energy or disk usage.

Monitor make and model along with its resolution were mentioned. I attempted to adjust settings to stabilize FPS at 60FPS. Checked for pending BIOS updates on the motherboard and tried uninstalling and reinstalling GPU drivers via DDU using the latest Nvidia support site. Drivers were installed through an elevated command interface.

Thank you for your response. Please note the specifications: PSU p650b (650w), HD toshiba 1tb sata III 3.5" 7200rpm, motherboard b360, BIOS status unknown, PC age around 1.5 years, monitor S19C301F (1366x768 60hz), and I keep updating my GPU drivers with nvidia geforce experience without uninstalling any.
