When I powered on my PC, the EVGA 2080 activated and began spinning, but the BIOS and Windows displayed strange loading issues. After shutdown, the fans ceased rotation yet remained illuminated. Neither Task Manager nor Device Manager detected a GPU presence. The card felt excessively hot even after power was off. I disassembled it, cleaned thoroughly, and reattached it. It previously worked with a 3060ti in this system, and the latest drivers were applied. A 600W power supply seemed sufficient. I’m unsure if the GPU is permanently damaged or if further steps could recover it.

It seems the issue might be with the RTX 2080. The HDMI/DP connection on the backboard could be faulty, or there may be a hardware problem like a failing GPU or VRM.
