A good suggestion would be to discuss this in the CPU, Motherboards and Memory sections since there’s usually more interest there. The 70°C is still within acceptable limits, and there are likely several factors contributing to the temperature.

the fan shape is adjusted based on temperature. when linked to your CPU, it activates to manage heat. some cooling happens immediately, but not instantly. if you have a case temperature setting, you can link fan speed to it. i shared an example from another post showing two front fans drawing air in, a top fan at the front pulling fresh air in, and another at the back expelling hot air. maintaining a slight positive pressure is important. for the RTX 3080, it gets very hot—water cooling might be better, but next-gen cards could handle it. i used the founders’ edit 3080 ti; thermal throttling made it tough, so water cooling was necessary. at around 80 degrees, it’s still acceptable. i set the case fans’ fan curve (sys fan 1), kept them silent, and linked it to the system temperature sensor. my CPU reached about 60 degrees, which happened because I disabled the fan curve mode.

You can keep the front plate and change the middle intake position. Alternatively, swap the middle fan with the top plate and vice versa. Both options should help reduce turbulence.

You could choose the option with number 1 on the button for fresh air, which would give a 4 in 1 success rate. Alternatively, selecting the number 2 on the button would result in a 3 in 2 success rate.

I was concerned the single rear fan might not be sufficient and could cause negative pressure. Installing a bottom GPU fan for dust management was also a consideration, especially with the Deepcool sag bracket. I plan to remove the second 140mm top fan since it mainly expels cold air, deciding whether to use it as a GPU fan or skip it entirely. I’m hoping for minimal turbulence, given the large cap in the top middle area.
