i was playing cyberpunk 2077 i have all my graphics settings almost at max except fog resolution is set to low i have ray tracing enabled using local shadows and raytraced reflections and running at 1080p resolution i get around 46fps to 58fps in some parts of the game then later on the fps drops to around 32fps and stutters when i look in the mirror is this a cpu problem or it's the gpu or which graphic configuration would you recommend i try or should i use my 3060 12gb?

Try it out.
Check the outcomes.
"some parts of the game" – use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to track system performance before, during, and after those sections. What shifts occur?

Or any other adjustments you make.
Be thorough and precise. Record what changes: before and after for comparison.
It’s safe to explore further.
Make sure all critical information is saved at least twice in separate locations away from the system. Confirm backups are readable and can be restored.

I'm not sure if it's the CPU, the graphics card, or the drivers that caused this issue. I was wondering if it could be related to the game's performance when playing in cities and open areas like deserts. I tried disabling ray traced shadows, but it didn't cause any stuttering or frame loss.

So everything was fine with the 3060 until you switched to the 2080 Super, right? My advice is to use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to track system performance while using the 2080. Use both tools at a time but only one at a time. I hope you’ll notice any changes in resources or resource usage during stutters. Take your time and be careful. If you make adjustments, change just one thing at a time and keep detailed notes. Then reinstall the 3060 and check performance again. The goal is to understand what the system is doing, trying to do, or stopping when there are stutters. You can then use Performance Monitor and other tools to explore further. I hope it’s just a configuration issue rather than a bug or unsupported setup.
