Hi, I'm experiencing a persistent bluescreen error while gaming. Initially, it appeared only during Steam's Bodycam game, but later it occurred more frequently with other titles. During extended gaming sessions, I encountered blue screens every 15 to 40 minutes, especially in Valheim and Tekken 8. The BSOD logs aren't consistently saved, and the screen often turns black before the machine restarts. I've attached two dumps for reference. Online reports suggest a possible hardware issue, but I'm seeking guidance on how to investigate further.
What steps can I take to diagnose the issue? A scan with Samsung Magician showed C drive is okay. Could the problem be a corrupted driver, page file, or RAM? Or might it be a storage hardware failure? Games are running on another SSD—moving them and checking for BSOD will help.
I discovered a solution for others facing the same issue. The memory worked properly, but it masked the real problem when the system was downgraded. The BSOD still occurred during extended sessions. The root cause was the PCIE extender cables attached to the GPU. Removing them eliminated the crashes entirely. The GPU consumes a lot of power and uses three 8-pin connectors, though the extenders were supposed to include these. Somewhere during setup they failed.
