Need assistance with biosBoot? Let me know how I can help.
I recently received a new motherboard, CPU, RAM, and M.2 SSD. When attempting to boot into Windows, it jumps straight to UEFI BIOS. The SATA SSD with Windows installed is recognized but isn’t listed in the boot priority settings. I own an MSI B550-A Pro, i5 12400F, RX570, and 16GB 3200MHz RAM.
You might want to adjust the boot settings to UEFI and Legacy mode. I experienced a similar scenario when upgrading my wife’s machine.
Enable CSM for conversion. This process requires updating your installation to support Secure Boot and similar features. Backup your data first; you can activate CSM now to keep your system running smoothly with the current specs. For a modern experience with resizable bars and Secure Boot, a full conversion is necessary.
