I searched for advice on specialized forums but found few active discussions. I installed a ch134a programmer, extracted data from my Dell T5810 BIOS chip, and used AMIcp flashing to apply modifications. After rebooting, I confirmed the new BIOS was installed. The system runs smoothly without bricking, though certain AMIcp settings remain hidden in the BIOS. I chose the USER option for main and sub-items to ensure visibility. My goal is to push overclocking beyond the current throttle limits, aiming for higher amperage output.
The power restrictions on OEM are fixed. Creating a custom BIOS from the ground up is necessary. Few understand how to craft BIOSes. If you aim to boost performance and increase power limits, consider investing in a capable motherboard instead. Apologies for the disappointing update.
Yes I know it's locked. This is why I have an external flash programmer. It's an AMI bios. They put everything in there for Dell to chose what they wanted to use. I have access to all the options but I guess there is a little bit of code I need to change to view hidden menus. I will get this figured out I know others have it's just unfortunate those people aren't around for me to question. I do believe I could make any and all changes while I edit the bios and make those changes default. So regardless of being able to see them after a flash it's done..... however that's a PITA to change anything.

Someone appears to be assisting me now, which is encouraging. Regardless of where I discover the solution, I'll share it across all my posts. This research has been tough due to the limited sources available, so I aim to simplify things for others.
Ok cool. I hope you do find out, because I'm curious to know and will be able to apply this information to aftermarket motherboards that are locked. The last guy came along wanted to try and unlock memory frequencies in the same fashion. I modded the bios myself, but the settings didn't appear in the bios just like yours. He wanted to go for higher memory frequency. Well that didn't work out for one main reason the particular chipset just doesn't support higher speeds and the firmware had the selection for user, but the coding doesn't exist in the bios for that particular board, so there's nothing to show. That was the conclusion we came out with on that one. So I wish you lots of good luck!!

The raid setting uses the IDE variable. That explains why it defaults there. If motherboard BIOS functions like graphics cards, data is secured. There are significant restrictions on modifications. I’m not able to offer much more assistance. The majority of the bios changes I’ve made have been for older systems.
